Vasudha under its charitable and educational mission is supporting various educational activities to underprivileged adults and children from villages around India. We are progressing on our mission for education by focussing on few villages at a time. Our goal is to help as many people in these villages as possible by improving their awareness on importance of education, providing basic education to be able to read and write to get them ready to admit to a local government school and assist them along the way to progress on their education path. We are doing this by closely working with local government schools and augmenting their efforts in whatever way possible by providing additional volunteer teachers and facilities as necessary.
Vasudha believes that improving our villages at the grass-roots level will help the country progress.
Vasudha is engaging local educated youth from these villages as volunteer teachers to work towards our mission. We are working with people who are social service oriented and really interested in making an impact in the society and through them augmenting our government schools to improve the education for children in villages. Vasudha is providing a honorarium to the volunteer teachers to support their living needs while working for Vasudha mission.
Vasudha is augmenting the school facilities as necessary to support the education for the children.
In addition, we are conducting adult trainings on vocational skills like tailoring to make women stand on their feet.
